Categories deep dive

Now that the hackathon is underway, it’s time to lock in your direction.

You’ll submit into one of four categories:

1️⃣ Assistant Coach (AI + Data Science)
Turn match data into actionable insights—connecting individual mistakes to macro strategy.

2️⃣ Automated Scouting Report Generator
Analyze opponents using GRID data and surface tendencies, comps, and setups.

3️⃣ AI Drafting Assistant (LoL)
Predict picks/bans and recommend draft strategies in real time.

4️⃣ Event Game
Build a fan-facing mini-game that could be featured at a future Cloud9 & JetBrains event booth.

👉 Tip: Strong projects clearly align to one category and explain why the solution matters to players, coaches, or fans.
